In this expanded role under USAID’s AIDSFree program, EnCompass provides technical assistance to USAID’s voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programs. VMMC is a highly effective procedure in reducing the spread of HIV and increasing the accessibility of HIV testing services for males. 

EnCompass is supporting USAID by conducting external quality assessments (EQAs) of VMMC programs and providing continuous quality improvement (CQI) in Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania, with local staff based in each country. Each team works with the country’s Ministry of Health, service providers, and other members of the AIDSFree Consortium.
