EnCompass LLC is partnering with the Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) and FHI 360 on the USAID Global Waters Communication and Knowledge Management II contract (Global Waters CKM II). By providing next generation CKM services that spotlight and share the thought leadership and efforts of USAID’s Center for Water Security, Sanitation, and Hygiene, we will be supporting work that creates tangible benefits for people’s health and promotes inclusive access to well-managed water resources and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services.

With this award, the EnCompass team takes on management of GlobalWaters.org, one of USAID’s original knowledge-sharing hubs for global development practitioners and decision makers. The team will work with the Center for Water and other leaders in the Bureau for Resilience and Food Security to upgrade the user experience and manage the numerous “microsites” associated with the Global Waters hub. Our team will work with the Center for Water and its partners to build interactive, technology-supported data visualization, search, and navigation modalities that empower users to find and use the latest data and tools available for water sector programming, in line with USAID’s Water and Development Strategy.

We will extend USAID’s story and evidence base by engaging a global network of thought leaders, influencers, and sector champions in conversations and learning events centered on water security, sanitation, hygiene, and other resilience-focused fields of global development. Building on EnCompass’ expertise in virtual learning and convening, our team will help the global community make meaning together and see pathways to decision and change.

Global Waters CKM II is a task order under the OASIS SB Pool 1 mechanism, an important U.S. Government procurement mechanism through which USAID and other U.S. Government agencies can access best-in-class services from EnCompass LLC and other organizations.
